Care for Veterans

The Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs (IDVA) connects veterans and their families with all the benefits and privileges they earned to empower them to thrive. Veteran Service Officers are qualified benefits specialists trained to counsel individuals and their families and offer a complete referral service with accurate and current information on the entire range of issues associated with veterans’ benefits and entitlements. IDVA also operates five unique veterans’ homes for veterans and eligible spouses seeking skilled and domiciliary care.
