Rule Changes:

NOTICE: The Department's Second Notice for proposed amendments to Community Care Program (CCP) [89 Ill. Adm. Code 240] regarding rate adjustments to maximum payment levels for CCP in-home service and adult day service providers was accepted by JCAR. The Second Notice period began on April 26, 2022 and ends no later than June 10, 2022.

NOTICE: The Department's First Notice for proposed amendments to Community Care Program (CCP) [89 Ill. Adm. Code 240] regarding rate adjustments to maximum payment levels for CCP in-home service and adult day service providers was published on page 3618 of Issue 11 in Volume 46 of the Illinois Register on March 11, 2022.

NOTICE: Adoption of the Part 210 Repealer [89 Ill. Adm. Code 210] became effective upon filing with the Secretary of State on August 10, 2021 and was published on page 10767 of Issue 35 in Volume 45 of the Illinois Register on August 27, 2021.

NOTICE: Adoption of amendments to provisions for appeals and hearings under the Older Americans Act [89 Ill. Adm. Code 220 and 230] became effective upon filing with the Secretary of State on August 10, 2021 and was published on page 10769 of Issue 35 in Volume 45 of the Illinois Register on August 27, 2021.

NOTICE: Adoption of amendments to Public Information, Rulemaking and Organization [2 Ill. Adm. Code 725] regarding the organizational structure of the Department became effective upon filing with the Secretary of State on June 24, 2021 and was published on page 8276 of Issue 28 in Volume 45 in the Illinois Register on July 9, 2021.

  • Part 530 Senior Citizens and Disabled Persons Property Tax Relief and Pharmaceutical Assistance Act

    • The Illinois Cares Rx Program was terminated by Public Act 97-689 on July 1, 2012, and the Circuit Breaker Program was not funded for State Fiscal Year 2013 under Public Act 97-730. Applications received by the Department on Aging will be used to determine eligibility for the license plate discount and mass transit benefits under the Persons with Disabilities Ride Free Program and Seniors Ride Free Program.
