Senior HelpLine
We Are Here to Help
In addition to local information and assistance sites, the Senior HelpLine provides information on a wide range of programs and services. It serves as a vital connection point, linking individuals aged 60 and older and their caregivers to local resources and support services in their communities.
Professional staff briefly assess needs, send literature, and write referrals for care coordination services, the Long-Term Care Ombudsman program, legal services, transportation, employment, and nutrition services.
Senior HelpLine staff also handle abuse intake and accept appeals and service inquiries from individuals enrolled in the Community Care Program.
