Illinois Senior Housing Residents' Advisory Council
Established under Public Act 102-0986, the purpose of the Senior Housing Residents' Advisory Council is to create a space and opportunity for older Illinoisans to connect with each other and formulate ideas on how the State can improve the quality of life for its older residents, particularly those residing in long-term care facilities and other congregate settings.
The Illinois Department on Aging is seeking to make one appointment to this advisory group.
We are seeking to identify for appointment:
- one older adult who lives in western Illinois
All council members are volunteers appointed to serve through December 2025. Those interested in being considered for appointment are encouraged to contact Roberta Vojas. Prospective appointees are subject to a vetting process at the discretion of the Illinois Department on Aging and the Office of the Governor.
